ADAS Calibration

Precision recalibration of your vehicle's Advanced Driver Assistance Systems, done right, so your safety technology works exactly as designed.

About This Service

ADAS Calibration

Modern vehicles rely on a network of sensors, cameras, and radars to power safety features like automatic emergency braking, lane departure warning, adaptive cruise control, and blind-spot monitoring. After any collision repair, windshield replacement, or suspension work, these systems need to be recalibrated to factory specifications.

At Kingdom Collision Center, we use state-of-the-art diagnostic equipment to perform both static and dynamic ADAS calibration. Our technicians are trained to OEM standards, ensuring every sensor is realigned with millimeter precision, so you leave our shop with full confidence in your vehicle's safety systems.

How It Works

The process, step by step.

01
Vehicle Scan
We perform a full diagnostic scan to identify all ADAS components and any fault codes before calibration begins.
02
Target Setup
Calibration targets are precisely positioned according to manufacturer specifications for your vehicle's make and model.
03
Static Calibration
Cameras and sensors are recalibrated in a controlled environment using specialized targets and software.
04
Dynamic Calibration
Where required, we take the vehicle on a test drive to complete real-world sensor alignment.
05
Final Verification
A second diagnostic scan confirms all systems are functioning correctly and no fault codes remain.
FAQ

Your questions answered.

Why does my car need ADAS calibration after a repair? +
Any collision, windshield replacement, or suspension change can shift the alignment of cameras and sensors by fractions of a millimeter, enough to cause false readings or disable safety features entirely. Calibration restores them to factory spec.
How long does ADAS calibration take? +
Most calibrations are completed in 1 to 3 hours depending on the number of systems involved and whether dynamic calibration is required.
Is ADAS calibration covered by insurance? +
In most cases, yes. ADAS calibration is a required part of a proper repair and most carriers cover it as part of the claim. We work directly with your insurer.
What vehicles do you service? +
We calibrate ADAS systems on all major makes and models, including domestic, European, and Asian vehicles. Contact us if you have a specific vehicle question.
What happens if ADAS is not recalibrated? +
Uncalibrated systems may give false warnings, fail to activate when needed, or cause unintended braking, putting you and others at risk. It is a critical safety step, not optional.
Do I need calibration after a windshield replacement? +
Yes. Most modern windshields have a forward-facing camera mounted behind the glass. Any windshield replacement requires recalibration of that camera.
